They say the most effective way to see where you are going is to look back at where you’ve been. If this rings true with music then the Pseudo Rebels would be considered part history lesson and part prognosticators. With a sound influenced by four decades of hip-hop, and everything from modern electronic to classic motown, the Pseudo Rebels manage to produce cutting edge tracks that pay homage to the past, while giving the listener a clear view of music’s horizon. So it’s back to the future with the new style – “Sweater Rap”, resonating off the debut album “Shut Up & Party!”
A little more about the individuals that are Pseudo Rebels:
First off is B-NYCE and whenever there’s a party, he’s the one turning the crank, and no matter what, you can forever count on B-NYCE to flash the freshest styles and the brightest smiles. With his love for old school hip-hop and insanely big bass beats he brings hype to spare with the Pseudo Rebels. Not only an exciting MC but also a talented vocalist who sings the melodies in the Pseudo Rebels songs.
The other half of the MC front of Pseudo Rebels is DP3 armed with a sharp wit and smooth stylings, DP3 is ready to get the show started. A devote study of underground hip-hop and possessing a tender place in his heart for catchy melodies, the vision of Pseudo Rebels pieced itself together inside his head. This fun loving MC always puts it all on the line when it comes to his craft. Bringing excitement and good times are always a part of his game.
When B-Nyce and DP3 decided it was time to get in the studio they turned to long time friend, Too Billion. With an ear for an eclectic music, Too Billion went about the task of bringing life to the beats and ultimately the songs that would be Shut Up and Party. On stage you’ll see Too Billion bringing the party manning the command central controls.
