Okay, so I love anything and everything that has to do with Gen. Larry Platt and his smash hit “Pants On The Ground” made famous on American Idol. But now our boy Nicholifavs P.K.A The Apple Store Kid is doing his thing to this song! I’m sure life could get better but I have no idea how.
Please do enjoy!

There are so many things I love about being a Pseudo Rebel. First I get to work with two great friends on doing what I love most, making music. Second, I get to play live shows and be an idiot on stage. Plus I get to collaborate with great people like Nicholifavs “The Apple Store Kid” and DPD from FRA (Future Rock Stars of America) making music videos.

To be honest normally making a music video is hard work. Please don’t get me wrong, it’s almost always a blast but usually requires either 18 hour days or me dressing in shorts so short a Hooters girl would feel naked. However the making of This Is My Mic was one of the quickest and smoothest shoots we’ve ever had. And that’s with us getting kicked out of Apple Store before we were able to finish the video. Luck for us there’s more than one Apple Store in LA. On top of all of that Apple featured the video on their Quick Time Guide.
So please check this video and feel free to go to your local Apple Store and make a video response for us.

Over the last year we’ve had the pleaser of playing some incredibly fun shows. Everything from the packed house at the My Ninja clothing launch at their Endless Summer show last June, where we opened for the very talented Root Beer (Flyn Adam and Pigeon John’s group) and FM (Far East Movement) to some of our most enjoyable shows playing with our very good friends in Centrevol.
There are very few feelings that compare with connecting to a live audience from the stage. As a fan of music I love the emotional high of connecting to an artist’s performance from the perspective of an audience member, and it is always my hope that at least one person in the audience will have that same experience when we perform.
On February 11th we were honored to host the Electro / House room at the Rhythm Lounge for the Bending Letters and Breaking Hearts show hosted by the Girls Gone Graff. We played several sets in between some amazing DJ’s and also got to check out some other talented acts as well as watch some very lovely ladies get painted on by some graffiti artist.
The night ended on a very nice note were we had the dance floor jumping and bumping followed by some nice photo opps with Shane West, DJ Dirty Deal and some of the very attractive models covered in graffiti. What a night!

You’ve probably heard of Glen Hansard even if you’re not sure exactly where and when.
